I have been a long term user of Wacom products, from the cheap ones all the way to the 22 inch Cintiqs, This innovator 16 is really awesome, the screen tactile quality surpasses the Cintiqs, the responsiveness is amazing with the pen, for under $500, it is a REALLY GOOD DEAL! I used a Asus G14 laptop, and used an anker USB C port. No need to use extra power to power the unit with no degradation in screen brightness. the next thing, if all possible is to add a touch screen, and just use a single USB C cable and make it completely portable. then it will be AWESOME! Maybe...just maybe add another dial to spin the canvas around in photoshop...dare I dream...Keep doing great work! Amazing products. BTW, I am a 3D artist with over 25 years of experience. avid Photoshop user since 95.

I've had this tablet for over a month and I can say with certainty I absolutely love this drawing display. I have owned tablets from Huion and Wacom and this one has been my favorite hands down. It's so thin and lightweight that I can take it anywhere. I love that it came with different plug adapters so that no matter where I am I can still plug in the tablet.
*Note: this has to be plugged into a computer!*
Setting up the drivers was so easy and it works so well with Clip Studio Paint. The screen is nice and large and bright. I use mine at about 50 or 55% brightness and it is nice and clear. The pen is nice and feels good to draw with, plus battery free. The stand that comes with it is plastic but very sturdy though it only has one setting. I have found that it is a comfortable drawing angle but if you want more angle options you'll need to get a different stand separately. Finally the buttons on the side are great as well as the two wheels in the center. I do find the outer wheel is a bit too sensitive at first use but nothing too bad.
I did purchase the anniversary edition so there were some other goodies like a keychain, post cards and stickers but they are just bonuses.
If I was trying to decide between this and a Wacom, I would still pick this drawing display.

My 2nd xp tablet, 1st being the deco 01 and I must say, it's a new game drawing on a screen as opposed to the no screen tablets. Been using it for an hour or so its not warm even though my room has no ac just a fan lol. Loving it so far and with Google's help I can paint on the tablet while my monitor displays a preview and the reference.
The pen is really well made, a smoothe rubber like material where you grip, really nice.
The tablet is thin, really thin, honestly I'm surprised it's not an Instagram model lol.
Express keys are nice along with the wheel thingamajig.
In a month or two I'll update the review.

Responsive pen, all short cut buttons are nice. Stand is nice and sturdy. Tablet doesn't get too warm. Resolution could be better. It's not like a computer. Too Pixelated. I wish we could flip the screen for left-handed use without flipping entire laptop display too.

I originally purchased this tablet at the beginning of January. When I received it and hooked it up, I noticed that the screen was starting to flicker. Rather than immediately sending it back, I contacted XP-Pen support, who then spent a week telling me to check the cables, which I knew were already secure and placed properly, and to be sure the power brick was plugged into an outlet. It was. Deciding I would just send it back and try another, I started a return with Amazon, sent it back, and purchased another. It had to be a dud, right? Well, the second tablet started doing the same thing immediately after hooking it up, only this one was much worse. The screen would even randomly go black for several seconds before returning to normal. I hooked this up to two other computers, a laptop and a desktop, to be sure it wasn't my PC that was causing this issue, and the tablet flickered on those devices as well.

I'm not sure if this is an issue with the cables, or some kind of defect with this particular series from XP-Pen, but I'm not impressed. This being my first experience with display tablets, I'm a little soured on them, but I'm going to give the Huion Kamvas 16 a try instead.

Its not beating Wacom yet on accuracy, but it's the closest equal to Wacom, and at a greater much lower price quality and slimmer device. I've always wish for a portable tablet to carry around but duo to price and quality it never felt right until this product became available. I wish for some type of hybrid in the future tablet design.

Awesome display tablet. The build is high quality with an aluminum backing. Really thin and the color quality is pretty accurate. Comes the a matte screen protector that makes it feel like you are drawing on paper. The set up was pretty easy just two usb plugs and a hdmi plug that leads to a single wire to the display tablet. The pen doesn't require batteries or a charge so that's a plus and it has a great feel to it. Overall pretty happy with this purchase because it's the best bang for your buck. I do recommend purchasing a additional stand because the one it comes with is set to only one Angle.

I'm glad I did too! The tablet was easy to set up and get started. Additionally the transition back and forth from my Galaxy Tab S7, is pretty seemless. The only thing that makes me remember I'm not on my Tab is when I'm trying to use touchscreen features, but that's not XP-Pen's fault. My only complaint that I was aware before buying is the stand. Fortunately, I had one I could use with it otherwise I'd be straining my neck as the default doesn't have much height when tilted forward. It's lightweight and comes with a screen protector installed. It's definitely a great and affordable alternative to a cintiq!

La tablette graphique en elle-même est de très bonne qualité. Cependant j'ai trouvé la sensibilité du stylet insuffisante en terme de gestion de la pression et le pilote n'est vraiment pas à la hauteur du produit. Les réglages proposés sont basiques et l'interface très mal conçue. Le tout fonctionne mal sous Adobe Photoshop, il faut désactiver le lissage et il installer un plugin tiers payant pour pouvoir utiliser le lissage, sous peine d'avoir un effet de lacet en fin de trait. À réserver à des logiciels ayant un réglage de la pression interne type Krita ou Clip Studio Paint.
